Merge Along
A free 2048 game you can play right in your browser. Explore little themed worlds, slide the board to merge matching tiles, and discover new designs as you play.
How to play
- Use the arrow keys or WASD on a computer, or swipe on the board on a phone.
- Tiles with the same value merge when they meet. A new tile appears after each move that changes the board.
- Try to make a 2048 tile, then keep playing for a higher score. The game ends when the board is full and no merges are possible.
- Undo your last move or start again. Your best score and unlocked collection are kept.
Find another world
Themes change the artwork, colors, and sounds while keeping the same merging rules. Each theme saves its own board and collection progress. Collection entries appear when you merge the matching tile.
Challenge friends
Submit a score to join the leaderboard, or choose a starting point from your game and share a board challenge with friends. Compare scores played from the same starting point. Shared links are kept for 30 days.
Saved games & contact
No account is needed. Your board is normally saved in this browser; clearing browser data may remove your local saves. Online leaderboards and board sharing need an internet connection.
